Il Viaggiatore / Corte Barcaro

This orange wine is imported in-house and produced in the Venice region.
Harvested somewhat late, from late September to early October, this wine is made from carefully selected grapes from a limited parcel and vinified like a red wine.
Friulano, a local white grape variety, is the main ingredient, blended with Chardonnay.

Beautiful amber color with a sense of transparency.
Orange and mandarin peels, dried chamomile, honey, and spices are gorgeously fragrant.
It has a round, gentle, slowly spreading depth, with grape-derived tannins that pleasantly tighten the aftertaste.

Recommended for fall, this is an elegant wine that can be enjoyed slowly through a meal.
