Biscotti, which have a crunchy, hard texture, are a common traditional pastry of the Tuscany region of Italy. It is a cookie baked with ingredients such as flour and sugar and nuts such as chocolate and almonds, and is sometimes made with dried fruits such as figs and apricots.
As the name suggests, the biscuit is baked once (bis) and then baked again (cot) to remove the moisture, resulting in a chewy texture and the aroma of almonds that oozes out as you bite into it.
Biscotti, which have been sold at our sister restaurants such as Sabatini di Firenze, Pub Cardinal, and Kawasaki Confectionery Factory, are now available for a limited time as a small pastry with coffee at the end of each course.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
